Hommasin tuollaisen RM-ITALY 1050 hakkurivirtalähteen ja kuulin jo bandilla sellaisen aiheuttavan häiriöitä HF-kuuntelussa. https://www.wimo.com/en/sps-1050s

Niinpä suunnittelin tai osittain kopioin Icomin virtajohdossa olevasta häiriön poistajasta ferriittikäärmeen. Valmistin ferriittikäärmeen kahdesta ferriitistä kiertämällä yhteensä kuusi kierrosta + ja -linjoihin, kolme kierrosta kumpaankin. Ferriitit on erotettu toisistaan palalla lasikuitua ja liimattu Araldiitillä.
Kun virtalähteessä oli sopivasti tilaa niin asensin sen sinne sisälle, näin ei mitään häiriöitä enää millään bandilla ilmennyt.
Toki ihmetytti virtalähteen rakenteessa se, ettei sen toision negatiivinen eli - napa ollut galvaanisesti kytketty laitteen runkoon, joten tein sen itse hyppylangalla ihan varmuuden vuoksi. Se on kytketty virransyötöstä ennen ferriittikäärmettä.
Pulttasin kanteen vielä listan jossa useampi ulostulo joka helpottaa useamman räkkileen kytkemistä, irroitusta. Jokaiselle lähdölle on omat sulakkeensa. Keltainen väri kotelossa ei ole alkuperäinen, ei kaiken tarvitse olla harmaata tai mustaa.
Lopputulos: ei häiriöitä ja virta riittää trankkulinukalla yli 300W lähetystehoihin ja laitteen puhallin on miellyttävän hiljainen. Ero commonmode-kuristimeen että ferriittikäärmeessä kiepit ovat erikseen vastapuolella toisiaan ferriitin ympärillä, eli + kiepit toisella ja - kiepit vastapuolella rengasta
